SFArtsED is thrilled to present a series of free visual-arts workshops which will take place every Third Saturday of each month from 2–4 PM in the SFArtsED gallery at 1275 Minnesota Street. Taught by SFArtsED Artist Mentors, these making-oriented events are geared towards visitors of all ages who are interested in creative expression! From shadow puppet-making to paper-pulp sculpture and beyond, these workshops are a great way to learn about new art processes and techniques. Materials are provided and drop-ins are welcome.

Third Saturday: Make Your Own Book with Mark Shoffner

Join us for a free, hands-on workshop in bookmaking led by Artist Mentor Mark Shoffner. Participants will have a chance to make books and zines using a variety of templates and techniques. This workshop is geared towards book enthusiasts of all ages. Materials will be provided!
