Supporting children, families & artists
Since 1968, SFArtsED has offered more than 300,000 public school students a chance to paint, dance, act, sing, design, weave, and sculpt – all mentored by working artists. Our programs take place in the classroom, after school, and during summer, because we believe that art is not a luxury for a chosen few, but an essential part of our shared humanity. In this, our 57th year of arts education, we offer a season packed with special events – from creative collaborations to live performances to another in-depth artist’s residency in our studio/gallery at Minnesota Street Project. We are especially excited this year to celebrate the 25th anniversary of our youth musical theater company, the SFArtsED Players.
Check out our full event calendar here.
Each year our artist mentors create engaging projects and connect with more than 7,000 students in the San Francisco Unified School District who are living their best lives being creative, sparking their imaginations, working together, and just plain having fun alongside some of the finest performing and visual artists in the Bay Area.
We invite you to join our community of passionate individual supporters and corporate donors through a sponsorship of our current season – with an array of benefits at every level and the knowledge that your participation helps us to reach more children, expand our group of resident artists, and increase the number of scholarships awarded. Everyone who sees your name and logo on our website, print pieces, signage, and social media will appreciate your support and commitment to the arts, artists, and children of San Francisco.
