The 40th Anniversary of SF Arts Ed
The SFArtsEd 40th Anniversary Gala was held at the M.H. de Young Museum on April 3, 2006. SFArtsEd honored the work of Susie Tompkins Buell, Alice Waters and Dede Wilsey for their work in arts education. The gala dinner-dance was emceed by actor Peter Coyote and included a cocktail reception, awards presentation and entertainment featuring Dick Bright and Friends as well as a special performance by past and current members of the SFArtsEd Players musical theater company.
